How do I get rid of Malware Troj/rustok n?

I can't visit certain websites because they say I have Troj/Rustok n on my computer, which would cause their sites to crash. Lately, I'm unable to update my Anti virus database, and my Anti virus doesn't see any malware on my computer because it's preventing the Antivirus from updating. How do I get rid of Troj/rustok without using any antivirus? What files should I delete on my hardrive?|||The name rings a bell, i might have been infected by it but dont remember.
