Farris L seems to be a hacker planting malware. Are there others trying the same thing?

All this person's links are the same in every answer and it tries to scan your system then load malware. How often is this happening on Answers?|||"Farris L" is not a real person. It is a bot whose name changes every few minutes, to avoid detection so it can keep infecting people with "rogue" anti-malware programs.

It's been around a few weeks now and Yahoo is either unable or unwilling to do anything about it.

|||he's not a hacker then if he's giving you links , and you are thick to follow them.|||People have to keep reporting and the answers are at least removed, although new accounts keep getting opened.

If you want to know more there are some discussion threads on the forum you can use.|||There are loads of people doing it at the moment, just dont click the link and report the user|||It's not the only one, there are multiple identities that are posting answers to lookalike Y!Q%26amp;A pages that then install antivirus 2009 or variations of it when links are clicked on.

Although this has been reported several times the problem continues and it happens too often as the links are simply copy and paste into answers of which they can do far too many each day, and then we end up cleaning up the mess they left!|||It's happening like CRAZY!!! Go to the bottom of the page where it says "Tell us what you think" and then click on New Malware Battle thread and copy and paste the offenders name.
