What language are most malware written in?

Ive actually been wondering how most people who make malware actually write there programs. Ive asked a friend who said C, but i wasn't entirely sure.|||not quite sure but heres how you can find out. isolate a malware program and have it destroy your computer. after that is over, turn your computer back on and see if the malware is telling you to f**k of. if it does you must restart the entire cycle over again. or you can google it, im pretty sure google hs all the answers to everything but thats the more difficult route
