I just had some stuff removed from my computer, a virus or something. I had this icon pop up saying that this task can not be displayed due to an infection. I couldn't do anything on my laptop. I don't know the first thing about computers. But I was told that I should get some malware protection. Is this available for download online?|||Most spyware, viruses and malware can be removed in safe mode. What you need to do is to download certain free packages, install them and then restart your computer in safe mode. To get into safe mode, when the initial screen appears with the manufacturer logo, press the F8 key located at the top of the keyboard.
